On October 5, 2013, what would have been Brianna’s Sweet 16 birthday, we gathered for something new. While she celebrated in heaven, we began a legacy here on earth. That day, we rode for her. Her face, her story, her light guided us—and year after year, she continued to bring us together in remembrance, in healing, and in hope. Over time, Ride for Hope grew beyond Brianna. It became a lifeline—for those who have lost someone to suicide, for those left behind, and for those still fighting silent battles. As the mission evolved, Babs quietly felt Brianna’s presence begin to fade into the background. But here’s the truth— She is the reason we are all here. She is the spark that lit this movement. She is the soul behind every mile, every hug, every life touched. 💛 In 2025, we relaunch Ride for Hope with a renewed mission: To build a stronger, more compassionate community by breaking the silence around mental health, supporting those who grieve, and reaching those still struggling—with love, connection, and hope. This is more than a ride. It’s a movement. It’s a promise. It’s a safe place where no one has to walk—or ride—alone. Thank you for being part of this journey. For every year, every mile, every moment of support—not just for the ride, but for one another.
With all my love, Babs aka Lil One Brianna’s mom. Your sister in hope. 💛 I’ll See You Tomorrow."
